From the rich and verdant tobacco fields and “mogotes” of Pinar del Rio, the vibrant urban bustle of Havana, the French neoclassical beauty of Cienfuegos, and Cuba’s living museum of Trinidad – all the way to the historic city of Camaguey, this is one of the richest immersions into Cuban culture imaginable.

Itinerary

- ARRIVAL Jose Marti International Airport in Havana. Flight originates in Miami
- Airport VIP Lounge for coffee and buffet breakfast while awaiting luggage
- Meet your resident tour manager, guide, and driver upon exiting airport terminal
- Transfer to the Viñales Valley (2h44m drive)
- Check-in to the Mystique Viñales hotel in the center of town
- Welcome lunch at El Cuajani, a critically acclaimed farm to table restaurant in the heart of the Valley
- After lunch, visit some of the Valley’s nature sites, enjoy horseback riding, strolling the town or time at leisure
- Dinner at 3 J’s, walking distance from the hotel

- Head to Havana, but first stop at Las Terrazas, the selfsustaining nature reserve in the Rosario Mountain range (2h drive)
- Visit the home & studio of Cuban artist, Lester Campa, a native of Las Terrazas
- Encounter with local guide to share the unique history of Las Terrazas and visit a small coffee plantation
- Continue to Havana (1h drive)
- Check-in to the Paseo del Prado hotel in Old Havana and enjoy a welcome cocktail
- Leisure time at hotel

- Strolling tour of the Four Grand Plazas of Old Havana with architect from the City Historian’s Office with new and cutting-edge design boutiques woven into the tour, as well as art galleries and design shops
- Stroll to Antojos for lunch in the Callejon de Espadas
- Private visit to the home and/or studio of one or more of Cuba’s top contemporary artists such as Fabelo, Mendive, Kcho, Carlos Garaicoa, Carlos Quintana, Vladimir Sagols and more…depending on availability

- Pick-up by Classic Convertibles for panoramic driving tour of modern Havana
- Dinner at Cocinero
- Fabrica de Arte Cubano art & entertainment complex for rumba class at 21:30 and private visit and tour of gallery with Enrique Rothenberg, FAC’s resident master artist and curator. Afterwards enjoy live music and cutting-edge ambience at Cuba’s hippest venue


- Breakfast at Tribe Caribe in historic Cayo Hueso, with a tour of the boutique hotel, black box performance space, and recording studio of world-renowned music producer, Andres Levin
- Bici-Taxi tour of the neighborhood’s Afro-Cuban musical history
- Traditional Afro-Cuban Rumba performance at El Callejon de Hamel
- Private lunch by Sahily Romero at Rita y Champagne
- Visit the home at private gallery of Kadir Lopez and discuss the restoration of Havana’s neon and incandescent lighting

- Visit Fidel Castro’s suite and post-revolution headquarters in the Habana Libre hotel, the former Havana Hilton completed only months before the triumph of the revolution
- Visit the El Laguito cigar factory, created by Cohiba in a magnificent mansion to roll exclusively for Fidel Castro; enjoy a fine cigar and rum pairing with a master Habanos sommelier.
- Lunch at Santi Pescador on the Jaimanitas River for the freshest fish and seafood in Havana
- Encounter with a professor of economics from the University of Havana to discuss the new developing economy and private enterprise in Cuba
- Return to hotel
- Sunset dinner at Marechiaro on Havana’s Malecon
- Evening at leisure; prepare for early departure
- Breakfast at hotel
- Early departure to the city of Cienfuegos (3h drive)
- Lunch at Camila’s on the Bay of Cienfuegos
- Tour of Cienfuegos’ historic city center and learn the history of this unique city and how the French influenced its development
- Depart for Trinidad (1h drive)
- Check-in to the Mystique Trinidad hotel
- Dinner at El Secreto and meet owner, Cuba’s night painter, Carlos Mata at this private museum and antiques gallery

- Visit La Canchanchara for a traditional cocktail of the same name
- Visit family owned working ranch, Finca La Lima
- Meet the ranchers, milk a goat and a cow, make cheese, roast and ground your own coffee while interacting with the locals
- Hike or horseback along the river to the private natural spring and small waterfall or,
- Hike or horseback in the other direction to the Caribbean beach at the mouth of the river
- Enjoy a traditional Cuban country lunch raised, grown, and prepared by your hosts
- Return to hotel
- Evening on your own to enjoy the lovely town of Trinidad and live music around every corner

- Early departure for the Topes de Collates National Park in the nearby Escambray Mountain range
- Hike either the Vegas Grandes or Caburni trails that lead to the waterfall and natural pool of the same names
- Lunch at a traditional “ranchon” in the mountains
- Return to hotel

- Return to hotel; prepare for early departure

- Depart for breathtaking drive through Cuban nature and farmlands to the city of Camaquey (4h drive)
